"a portrait of my children, once a week, every week in 2015"
Joining Jodi for the 52 Project
The Great British Summer is living up to its name, we are feeling the cold this week with the rain, then sun, cloud, wind and then more sun.
I am loving the freedom that the school holidays bring, not having to clock watch so much. This is how we spent our days this week...
You may remember we have visited some of the Stanza stones before? Well we found the 'mist' stone this week...
Miss M bounding down a boggy bilberry covered hill...
The views were amazing...
We followed the main road to Hebden Bridge and paid a visit to a National Trust beauty spot called Hardcastle Crags. At the very end of our walk are these stepping stones, M was soooo pleased to be able to kick off her walking boots...
One morning, I made a pretty garlic plait...
The children made a white chocolate and strawberry cheesecake...
and yesterday we went to try and catch some crayfish...
No such luck, so sand castles were built by the riverbank instead...
How's your week been? Full of sun and fun?
