26/52

Half way through the year already!

It's the little things that keep me smiling and this morning they all happen to be yellow...

I feel too busy at the moment, every second is precious.  Can't wait for the summer holidays to begin.  I managed to spend some quality time with my little girl after school on Friday.

What would you like to play?
Can we build my bear?
Of course :-)

Little Jenny Wren

Miss M received a little bird house from Father Christmas. More or less straight away it was built and painted.  Eventually Spring arrived and we fixed it to the pergola. She decided to put some 'hay' inside to give any birds a head start.

Now here we are...I love watching our little house guests, I think there are 2 little ones inside, they keep peeping out, eagerly awaiting their delicious insects from mummy and daddy...I wonder how long it will be before they leave the nest?

Miss M: Birthday girl
Ro: In a giant bubble

A birthday weekend camping trip.  We drove for a couple of hours to the seaside: Staithes

We pitched the tent, lit the bbq, I burnt the sausages - good job we had birthday buns!
toasted marshmallows, slept in sleeping bags.
Cockerel woke us, went to the beach, built sandcastles, went crabbing, ate sandwiches on someones boat, put 2 pences in machines at the arcades, watched the lifeboat coming in.
Listened to the rain pitter patter on the tent while we were all cosy.
